The LiftMaster LMWEKITU Monitored Wireless Edge Kit is an essential two-part safety device for automatic gate systems, comprising a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter is connected to a safety edge mounted on the gate. If the edge is triggered by contact, it closes a circuit which signals the transmitter to send a stop command to the receiver. The receiver, in turn, is wired directly to the gate's motherboard, triggering it to halt the gate's movement immediately, thus preventing potential accidents or damage.

In terms of specifications, this kit is equipped with innovative low-energy Bluetooth® technology, providing a reliable communication range of up to 130 feet between the transmitter and receiver. It meets the rigorous UL325 safety standards, ensuring dependable performance under various environmental conditions. The system can monitor up to eight entrapment points and supports up to four transmitters, each capable of handling two wired resistive edges. All components are housed in a durable, weather-resistant NEMA 4X rated enclosure. The kit includes all necessary mounting hardware and two AA lithium batteries, which have a lifespan of up to two years, simplifying installation and maintenance while enhancing the overall safety and efficiency of gate operations.
